Our girl Yvonne teaches us and others the definition of strong

This week, Jane can't get enough of this CANCER WINNING, SUPERMAMA, PURPOSE-DRIVEN, POWERHOUSE rocking it in our studios week in and week out.

"As a hockey mom who was raised in Ohio by my father, who was a single parent, I was taught to turn challenges into triumphs. When I was diagnosed with cancer 7 years ago, I fought it with all I had (while going through a divorce)...and I triumphed. 4 years ago, I leapt toward faith and left a six figure salary at a Wall Street firm to pursue my dream to teach kids as young as age six how to code and engineer. Two years ago, I founded a New York-based STEM education company that was recently featured on NBC by Jenna Bush Hagar. I now have 3 locations in 3 states and was recently awarded my first grant. Small wins. Big triumph.

When I dragged myself through the doors of Jane DO nearly 4 months ago, I was at least 15 pounds overweight. I only recently noticed the weight gain due to working so much for over a year to keep from mourning the loss of my father, who had to succumbed to lung cancer in 2016.

It took one class - Tramp Stamp - to force me to the realization that the eating habits and faîlure to exercise for over a year were actions that we're not supportive of who I really was. Jane DO provided the atmosphere for me to enter into a right relationship with myself again. Almost daily, I am led, sometimes carried by the motivating mantras and infectious positive energy from the instructors who truly support everyone in their effort to go...just...a...little...bit...further. This energy force has had such a tremendous effect on my outlook in my own life. For the first time in my life, I now put my health and well bring above all else. #imatterdammit. This is my personal triumph."

@Yvonne Thevenot, you were a #SuperWoman before we met you and we love watching you continue to get stronger!
