September marks the unofficial start of a brand new year- the kids go back to school, we have to stop taking Summer Fridays, and the appropriate time to start drinking is no longer 11 am. As the days get shorter and the air gets cooler, you may find yourself missing your carefree beach bum mentality, but instead of letting yourself feel the summertime sadness, grab your P.S.L. and let the fall help you RECHARGE and RESET.
September happens to be Self-Improvement month, so take this time to get back to yourself and revisit the goals you may have let fall to the wayside during the summer heat.
Self-improvement can also mean self-care, so now’s the perfect time to put in some low-lights, get a facial, and get back to wearing your favorite burgundy nail shade.
Check out our studio schedules to get back into your workout groove and don’t be afraid to set some new fitness goals for yourself. Try a new class, new instructor, or pick up a heavier set of weights for a new challenge. If you took the summer off, now is the time to get back on track with your old healthy habits!
We’d love to see you get your a$$ back in class, but remember, self-improvement is about more than just your biceps. Check out our reading list to spark your brain power. If books aren’t your thing, there are plenty of podcasts and TED-Talks that are bound to quench your inner nerd and reignite some office motivation. Check out Dani and Jacey’s favorite podcast on Spotify “How I Built This."
This time of year is also a really great time to try something new, like a new hobby. There are plenty of adult classes that start back up in September, so no matter what your interests are, you are sure to find something this fall. From photography to wine tasting- this is the month to jump in and give your spirit, social life, and soul some self-love.
Still not excited to get the fall ball rolling? Luckily, Starbucks release their P.S.L, Chumpkin Latte (chai and pumpkin), and Caramel Apple Cider on September 1st...so if nothing else, at least there’s that!
